Simulators

Practice makes perfect. At Lazarski Aviation Academy,
you gain theoretical knowledge and develop
practical skills by flying professional flight simulators
and practicing at laboratories.

A320 FNPT II/MCC Simulator

Airbus A320 is one of the most popular airliners currently used in civil aviation. It serves short-to-medium-haul flights in airlines worldwide. It carries up to 186 passengers. Notably, it is the first aircraft in history to feature fly-by-wire control system.

At Lazarski University, you can find A320 simulator with flight deck in relation 1:1 to the real aircraft. Visualisation of flight is performed on a large cylindrical screen with three projectors. It is based on visual simulation platform Prepar3D.

Functions of the simulator include weather and daytime change, which comes with the option of taking off or landing on multiple airports around the world.

DA 40/42 FNPT II Simulator

Diamond DA40 is one of the most advanced turboprops in the world. It has become quite popular both among private users and with state aviation.

The Diamond simulator works based on visual simulation platform Prepar3D and the visualisation itself is comprised of 6 screens. Central console and control systems also match the real equipment.

ALSIM AL250 FNPT II Simulator

Alsim AL250 is a versatile type of simulator dedicated mostly to conducting trainings on the highest level. It represents several SEP and MEP aircraft models, while also being equipped with many forms of configuration – analogue gauges and glass cockpit/EFIS. Visualisation is performed on projectors and control is done with traditional column.

The simulator features most flight parameters, environmental sounds, as well as system behaviour analogical to those that pilots encounter during real flights. Simulator offer simulations of malfunctions of certain devices, change of daytime and configuration of atmospheric conditions.

Laboratory of Air Navigation

At Lazarski University you will find a modern flight simulator for the students of Aviation Law and Professional Pilot Licence programme. The system is installed in room no. 270 (2nd floor, sector F).

The simulator is dedicated for our students to practise flying, as well as to learn terms directly related to navigation, meteorology and aviation phraseology. All that is made possible by software featuring two high-class flight simulators: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and X-Plane 11.

The core is a computer with installed Intel Core i9-9900K processor and GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming Trinity 24GB graphic card, which allows flights performed on the simulator to be smooth. Accompanying effects (precipitations, insolation, cloud layers) of the flying experience fully reflect the reality of work in cockpit. Three 55-inch Samsung TV sets with 4K technology make impressions from flight realistic.

Control inputs are done by keyboard, mouse and HOTAS Warthog PC joystick and T. Flight Rudder pedals dedicated especially to that type of equipment. Another important element of an immersing experience is RealSimGear G1000 Suite system that displays data on navigation, airspeed, as well as artificial horizon, just like on true aircraft screens.

Laboratory of aviation law and procedures

Laboratory of aviation law and procedures is in room no. 265 (2nd floor, sector F). Students of Aviation Law with Professional Pilot Licence may use it in the same way as students of other programmes available at Lazarski Aviation Academy.

The room largely reflects working conditions of real court rooms. There is a place for the judges, the dock, tables for accuser and defender, podium for speakers, as well as benches for audience.

Thereby students on their internships in Court room might feel as true judges, prosecutors, or advocates, or simply those observing proceedings. The room is also well adapted to international moot court competition tutorials. All classes for our students are conducted by practising lawyers specialised in LL.M in Air Law.
