Cooperation agreement with IATA

Lazarski University has entered into a cooperation agreement with IATA, which has become a partner of Lazarski Aviation studies. The agreement was signed on 10.03.2022.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA), established in 1945, is a prominent trade association headquartered in Montreal, Canada. With around 300 member airlines, it represents approximately 82% of global air traffic. IATA’s mission focuses on promoting safe, regular, and economical air transport. It plays a vital role in formulating policies and setting industry standards for safety, security, efficiency, and sustainability.

Postgraduate students in Aviation Law and Professional Pilot Licence will have the opportunity to participate in a course titled “Overview of Air Transportation System TCVG-92”, covering topics including the roles and responsibilities of airlines and airports, Civil Aviation Authorities, Air Navigation Services, the role of ICAO and major global aviation organizations, interrelations among components of the air transportation system, and an overview of current issues impacting the system.
