The idea of establishing an entity associating aviation law enthusiasts was presented by dr hab. Anna Konert, prof. UŁa in June 2011. The word "avion" was originally a proper name for a flying machine constructed by the French explorer Clément Ader, who created it around 1875 from the Latin word avis, meaning "bird". This name transformed into a popular term for the aircraft only after the First World War, previously the word aéroplane was used more often.
The interest on the part of students and the support from the representatives of the doctrine and the aviation industry allow us to believe that our project is entering the path of dynamic development.
We hope that thanks to the strong motivation of the team under the supervision of dr hab. Anna Konert, our common passion, which is aviation, and the constantly deepened knowledge in the field of aviation law, our initiative will go down in the history of the development of this branch of law in Poland and in the world.
