
PhD Piotr Kasprzyk
Legal advisor, pilot, Rector's proxy for aviation studies and programs
Piotr Kasprzyk, Ph. D., is responsible for aviation studies and programs development at Lazarski University, Warsaw, Poland. He is also a research fellow at the Institute of Air and Space Law of Lazarski University. With his legal background, he is focusing on the aviation and drone law.
Piotr has also more than ten years of high-level management experience in the aviation sector in Poland. He was previously Head of the Airport Division of a new central airport for Poland (Centralny Port Komunikacyjny), where he worked between 2019 and 2024. He was also a proxy for air navigation standards at the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (2015-2019) and the Vice-President for aviation standards of the Civil Aviation Authority in Poland (2012-2014).
He is an active member of the European Air Law Association. As the attorney-in-law, he was providing legal support for airlines, aircraft operators, airports, as well as for ATC and pilot’s unions.
He is also an active private and glider pilot.
