Scientist, academic lecturer and practicing patent attorney, currently acting as the Dean of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian District of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys and a member of the National Council of Patent Attorneys. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Completed Postgraduate Studies in Intellectual Property Law (University of Warsaw).
Katarzyna Krupa-Lipińska has realized the following project: educating academic staff to be lecturers in the subject of Intellectual Property Protection (University of Warsaw – University Center for Technology Transfer), IP Schools (H. Grocjusz Intellectual Property Rights Center).
In her work, PhD Krupa-Lipińska deals with civil law and intellectual property law, primarily industrial property law.
She is the author of Polish and foreign publications in the field of civil law and intellectual property law, including the following: monograph “Causal relationship as a premise of liability for unlawful acts”, Wolters Kluwer 2020 and articles and chapters in monograph: “The acoustic trademark” (in: The present and future of music law, ed. A. Harrison, T. Rigg, Bloomsburry Publishing 2021) “Priority, Rationalization Project, Patent Capability, Service Mark” (entries in the Intellectual Property Law Lexicon : 100 basic concepts, ed. M. Barczewski, E. Kowalska, C.H.Beck 2019).
