The simulator is designed to learn how to fly airplanes, as well as issues related directly to navigation, meteorology and aviation nomenclature. All thanks to the software that includes two popular high-class flight simulators: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and X-Plane 11 running on the Windows 10 Pro operating system.
The core of the simulator’s equipment is a computer with an installed Intel Core Core i9-9900K processor and a GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming Trinity 24GB graphics card. Thanks to this equipment, flights performed on simulators are smooth, and the accompanying effects (rainfall, sunlight, cloud layers) fully reflect the realities of working in the cockpit. Thanks to the use of three 55-inch Samsung TVs with 4K technology, using the device, you can feel like you are in a real plane.
The simulator is operated using a keyboard, a mouse, as well as a HOTAS Warthog PC joystick and T. Flight Rudder pedals designed specifically for this type of device. However, the most interesting element for future pilots is the RealSimGear G1000 Suite system, which displays flight navigation data, preview of the artificial horizon, as well as altitude and speed, which are very similar to the screens available in real civil aircraft.
In addition to the simulator’s equipment, in room 270 (2nd floor, sector F), there are also aircraft models and vintage-style aviation posters, which additionally emphasize the atmosphere of the aviation world.
