A lawyer by education, he additionally completed postgraduate studies at the National Defense University in Aviation Management and postgraduate studies at the Krakow University of Technology in the field of Aviation Management. A graduate of the Aviation Academy in Singapore in the field of Aviation Safety Management Systems and participant of many international SMS courses conducted by, among others IANS Eurocontrol, IATA, ACI.

Author of the National Civil Aviation Safety Program (KPBwLC) and Chairman of the Team responsible for the development of the first National Safety Plan. Initiator of changes in the area of aviation incident reporting – co-founder and promoter of the Central Reporting Base (CBZ.GOV.PL).

Previously, the Head of the SMS Inspectorate and the Southern Delegation of CAA in Krakow, responsible for establishing the main standards of SMS supervision in the area of airports, ATO and AOC.
