A graduate of the Warsaw Aero Club. He has been working in aviation since 1984, initially in the Main Board of the Aero Club of the Polish People’s Republic as a training and sports inspector. Then for 6 years in the Central Medical Aviation Group as an airplane and helicopter pilot. Since 1995 he has been working at PLL LOT as a line pilot. Since 1997, a captain, pilot instructor on ATR-72/42, Embraer 145, Embraer 170/190 airplanes. Currently, he is the captain, pilot and instructor of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. He also worked in the structures of PLL LOT as an aviation safety inspector of the ATR and Embraer fleets. From 2003, for six years he headed the Department, and then the Aviation Quality and Safety Office as its director. Then he headed the Flight Standardization and Methodology Department. He was the Head of Training at the LOT Polish Airlines Training Center. In the years 2014 – 2016 he was the Director of the Aviation Operations Office of PLL LOT. Throughout this period, he is an active practical examiner of the Aviation Examination Commission.

Parallel to his work at LOT Polish Airlines, he also dealt with aviation safety, initially as an expert, and then a member of the State Commission for Aircraft Accident Investigation. He participated in the investigation of the CASA plane accident near Mirosławiec as an expert of the Military Military Prosecutor’s Office. He was a member of the State Aviation Accident Investigation Committee established to investigate the accident of the Tu-154 aircraft in Smolensk. A graduate of the National Defense Academy, aviation faculty, specializing in Aviation Organization Management. For nearly 5 years, he lectured on aviation subjects for students of the Warsaw University of Technology, faculty of MEiL. He works as a lecturer and instructor with several aviation training centers.
He is the builder, owner and pilot of the Minifox SP-SCPT ultralight aircraft. He promotes the idea of cheap, safe and legal flying by running the website www.cptwujot.pl and a movie channel on YouTube.
